Michael Jaggi

Michael Jaggi (*1974) has been CTO of Ringier Media Switzerland since January 2024. Prior to that, he was CTO of Ringier Axel Springer Switzerland, Axel Springer Switzerland and the Amiado Group. Since 2021, he has also been a member of the Board of Directors of Gryps. During his studies, he witnessed the beginnings of the World Wide Web. After his first professional positions as a developer and involvement in numerous web projects, he came into contact with the media industry for the first time and helped to build up Blick's digital offering. He remained in this role from 2000 to 2014 and, as Head of Web Technology, was jointly responsible for the further development of blick.ch. At Axel Springer Switzerland, he built up the engineering department and, together with his team, focused on the development and implementation of a platform strategy.
